Optiparts Dutch Team Race Championship 2023

Dear Optimist sailors,

We are the Royal Yacht Club Loosdrecht organizing the 2023 Optimist European Team Racing Championship later this year.

You are 1 of the 16 qualified countries for this event.

This email is to inform you about our Optiparts Dutch Team Race Championship 13^th and 14^th of May 2023 on the exact same club and location.

The Optiparts Dutch Team Race Championship is for 16 teams to start.

The registration will be opened the 3^th of February at 17:00.

After the first 16 teams we will have a waiting list.

In 2017, 2018 and 2022 we have organized the Dutch Team Race Championship with competitors from Belgium, Swiss, Ireland, Greece, Denmark, Spain, Turkey and the Netherlands.

In 2022 the Fenerbahçe sailing club won the event.

In 2018 we had 22 teams, 250 starts in 1 weekend with the Swedish worlds Team winning. See attached movie to give you an impression.

We can help you with housing (apartments, hotels or stay at houses from our members), charter boats, travelling from the airport and back and all your other questions.

Dutch Optimist Championship

After This event our National championship will take place in Workum, the Dutch Youth Regatta (DYR) from Thursday 18^th May till Sunday 21^th May.

In the last regattas in 2019 and 2022 we have had over 400 optimist sailors competing from Curacao, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Croatia, Denmark, Hungary, Germany, France, Lithuania, Malta, Monaco, Malaysia, Singapore, Slovakia, Swiss and Thailand and of course the Netherlands.

Charter boats can be arranged for both events and we can also help with the transport from Loosdrecht to Workum.
